SAP Benchmarking is developed in close collaboration with FSD, the Foundation of SAP users in Denmark, and a number of corporations with the purpose of ensuring the corporations a tool to provide answers for crucial questions, such as:
- Do we spend too much money – or not enough - on operating our SAP system?
- Can we minimize our costs in relation to SAP?
- How well can our SAP system work?
- What should we do to optimize our SAP system?
- How do we prioritize our initiatives to increase value for money?
- How do our IT costs and IT performance compare to those in similar
- companies (the peer group)?
When is SAP Benchmarking used?
SAP Benchmarking is used as part of a general IT Performance Management strategy and decision support before, during and after large investments, outsourcing, optimization, reorganization, service contract maintenance etc.
SAP Benchmarking consists of 2 sub analyses, a SAP User Survey and a SAP Measurement, which combined, provide an effective overview of the SAP system in the company.
